Colonial Stitching

I have big plans for this design by Little House Needleworks! I need to get some more acid-free foam board and get blocking!
I always set a goal of 1 Christmas ornament a month. So here is a start on my 1st ornament of the year in month 8. Hmmmm, I don't know if I will catch up! This is a design from Tristan Brook's 'Christmas in the Colonies.' I love the colors!

It is so difficult this time of year - I know I should be doing Christmas stitching, but the slight, very slight, nip in the air this morning makes me want to pull out the autumnal stitching. What are you working on?

I love your LHN!! Beautiful! I just pulled out a bunch of my LHNs--I'd love to get some of them stitched. Instead I then sit down and continue working on other WIPs! LOL

Nice ornament! I had to laugh at your plan and just how you're doing with it. I had this idea about a month ago that I'd stitch an ornament per week. I think I have half of a santa head stitched and that's as far as I got. Last year I didn't keep up with my ornament goal, told my SIL that her daughters' ornaments would be sent this year, and I've not stitched one stitch. Agh.

So, you are a little late starting your ornies...oh well other projects distract us! My goals for this year are not looking like I am going to accomplish them either. My head has been turned by many of the new things that have come out this year.
The stitching on the LHN pice and ornament looks great :0)
