Weekly Report

We did not get much done this week: Nutmeg has been sick. We got in about 2 1/2 days of school. We did three Saxon 2 math lessons including the one I fell asleep during yesterday. I took allergy medicine and went to lie down on the couch while Nutmeg was doing her worksheet. I slept for about and hour and a half. That doesn't happen to the teachers in public school! We did three days of Prima Latina lesson 21. Nutmeg says she is sick of listening to the CD in the car - maybe she is jut grouchy because she is sick? We have done two days of First Language Lessons 2, analogy worksheets from enchantedlearning.com, cursive worksheets, map workbook, Explode the Code 5, and reviewing poetry memorization. My husband is still reading The Golden Children' s Bible and Treasure Island to her. We did not work on the butterfly lapbook or history. I could not have sent her to public school with a fever or feeling so poorly, so it is great that I sneaked in that much schooling (except for the part when I fell asleep).
I received the Homeschool in the Woods CD of the Time Travelers: American Revolution. It looks like so much fun! I want to go back and review Jamestown so we can make the fort. We will be doing the second half of SOTW3 in the fall. I am really excited. I need to infuse Nutmeg with a little of that excitement. She just wasn't into making projects this week! I hope you all had a great week!

Hope everyone is better soon.

I remember years ago falling asleep at the table while my oldest was doing math. I didn't get to sleep long, he was quick to tell me I feel asleep. :o)

We did TT Colonial Life CD and it was WONDERFUL! Have fun doing your study!
